Northwest enjoys a rich worship tradition. We gather very Sunday at 11:00 a.m. We believe God summons us through his infinite goodness and grace. Our singular goal of worship is to focus ourselves on one thing: God. We believe that God is worthy of our devotion and He calls us to be active participants in our worship, rather than passive observers. We strive for meaningful, transformative and uplifting worship.
NWBC's worship style is more traditional than contemporary, but our intent is to focus more on substance than style. We hope to include the best of the Christian tradition into worship, while not ignoring the new and faithful elements of contemporary worship. Our worship follows the Christian calendar, with special services during holy times. Responsive Readings, meditations, testimonies, prayer, communion, offerings, biblical readings, sermons, and hymns are the standard elements of our worship.
Musically, NWBC takes advantage of a myriad of gifts and talents. The adult choir blesses the congregation most Sundays. Hymns compose the majority of our song selection, although we also sing choruses frequently.
We strive to be warm and welcoming to visitors every week, so please know that you are more than welcome to come and worship God with us!
